Australian Lowline Cattle in Hawkes Bay

Canto Alegre is an 18-acre property located in Hastings, Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Our main activity is our Australain Lowline Stud. We breed 12-13 cows and heifers yearly and sell progeny to other breeders or smallholders.

Our Australian Lowline Cattle herd produces high quality beef and we regularly have weaner calves for sale. Australian Lowlines are ideal cattle for the small farm block, they are docile and  produce top quality beef. They are efficient converter of grass into milk and have a smaller environmental footprint when compared to other larger breeds.
