Australian Lowline Beef Cattle

Our Australian Lowline Cattle are part of the farm biodiversity. The ruminant has the ability to convert feed into milk and meat and the manure they produce enriches soil life when it gets incorporated into the soil.  We currently have 12 registered cows/heifers and a stud bull.

Australian Lowline cattle are resilient, sturdy cattle that fit well in our operation. They are well suited for small properties produce high quality tender beef, with animals maturing early and yielding good carcasses.

BBQ Santana - Stud Bull Since 2022

Part of the Australian lowline herd at Canto Alegre

2023 and 2024 have been great years. Moshpit progeny, 4 heifers have ntred the herd, and Santana arrived. Santana first crop of calves were mostly males which we carried through and noted magnificent growth rates, heavy carcasses nd great beef. Calf 104 born in the spring 2024 produced a 270 kilo carcass at 26 months, a good figure for Australian Lowline.

2025 spring we finally had a good number of heifers, so Santana's progeny will live on. % Heifers will be registered by May 2026, one supreme good looking nd fast growing bull calf has been kept as a bull, the other bull calves steered.

We may advertized cattle for sale in a few weeks (by end of May 2026) once we decide what we want to keep.
